Do you mean a breakdown of scores or final score? Ex. Gymnastics will give you the final score of each athlete but will not release where the athlete got deducted. So as for releasing Team A. scored 9.5 on Jumps and Team B scored 9.1 I'm not too sure of how that will fly.
The part of coaching credentialing that I don't understand that I as a coach can coach a team that wins a comp, or better yet gets a bid to worlds, is that not credentialing? I think that in itself shows a coaches "credentials". Now if its a process that assists in training a coach such as...
Wow how views of the Universal scoresheet have changed in such a short time!! Im so stoked to see so many people that are in favor of it!!! Now as far as credentialing, I don't agree with it at ALL!!! I don't think any kid or coach should be required to take those garbage tests and pay money...
Im going on record as being a broken record about this but I still believe that there should be a split in Sr. Open 5, coed and all girl. Ok I said it again. I also think Jump to STANDING backs should be legal lvl 4. Stupid you can do a Jump to handspring tuck but not a standing tuck, just dumb.
I agree with Int teams not receiving full paid bids but I think they should be awarded partial paid. I think all bids should be awarded to the highest scoring teams at the competition, if its Int teams then the company should be allowed to split a full paid into 2 partials. If the highest...
Im slightly confused on credentialing. What is the purpose? What is the "gain" for the athlete? I guess I just don't understand if an athlete is on a team that "qualifies" for a bid to Worlds why do they need to be credentialed as well? I just don't get the "gain" for an athlete or a coach...
I agree 100% with njgymrat. Im still stuck on why there isn't concern for a coed team competing against an allgirl team? So basically sr open 5 just needs to be coed.
Ultimately I guess it would be considered a "new" division. But that can definately be done before 2011. That is not a "rule", divisions are made every year. I agree small and large is a correct split, but there DEF should be a coed/allgirl split/ BOYS make a difference. 20 w/4 boys could...
If you do 40/60 or 50/50 and place teams accordingly, how is that any different than "placement" from 20/80? I just don't like how day 1 has little if no importance but "enough"?
I think WHEN the universal scoresheet FINALLY gets put into affect, the "perfect" scoresheet will take some time to get right. But my thing is that regardless of what the scoresheet says, everyone will benefit.
ACEDAD I completely understand what you are saying. As a gym we have the power to choose which events to attend.
I don't want to be a person that gets a group of gyms together and say "hey lets not go to company (x) bc we don't like their scoresheet. I don't think that is the right way to...
I know that there would be MANY complaints about a Universal score sheet BUT if the rule is the rule and its consistant then gyms would have to follow. Did everyone agree with the age grid? No, but since it is the same throughout, gyms follow, they don't have a choice. If you tell me I need...
Ok, so this weekend somewhat proves my point (as far as the scoresheet goes). Varsity event tells me something completely different than a previous Varsity event as far as what my team needs to do in order to max score in 3 different areas. My gym has chosen several different events produced...
I don't think that USASF should pay for judges to be certified. I think if a judge wants to judge at a major event then they should be required to pay to be certified. I believe that major events pay more for their judges so they should be required to be legit.
