I agree. It is one of the best feelings of the season, next to hitting deduction free at summit, and they took that away from the athletes.

I'm from AGD and I'm a twin. One warning I want to give is don't obviously favor one. I know you're going to probably click better with one, but be aware of the others feelings. My big favored my twin in a way that blocked me out and pushed her away. Luckily my twin and I are now good friends...
I'm really late to the game, but does your CP have a stunt stand to practice pulling skills on? If not, two cans of corn or whatever is a good substitute. This way she doesn't loose her scorpion or heel stretch.
Also don't worry about the other girls. You aren't there to prove that you are the best. Prove that you are kind, hard-working, and above all: TEACHABLE! Show that you have potential(:

That's kind of a broad area so I'll help the best I can!
Colors:
Try to go with colors that look good on you. For example, if you have brown eyes, then golds, browns, and greens will look best on you.
You can also go with what will look good with your uniform. For example, with your red black...
I don't really know what's best for competitive cheer, as I don't compete, but if you use chap stick on your eyelids before you put your eyeshadow on, I can PROMISE it will stay on through sweat! It's the secret of synchronized swimmers :p (I'm a regular swimmer & I use this trick, too!)
My stunt group is hitting half ups and full downs, even though only one of us has ever stunted before this season (our flyer), but we aren't hitting the ground up. Can someone help me?
1. We could hit it when we brought in a more experienced back spot. She made our flyer feel so light! She was...
Whenever we have issues with a stunt and we don't feel comfortable bringing it up with the person, we ask our coach to come watch the stunt and tell us what's wrong with it. If they don't catch it and fix the problem, other girls will be interested in what is going on and they will try to help...
It depends on what you need to work on. I would DEFINITELY recommend the soup can. Make sure you're carrying your own weight and practice locking out your knees as soon as you possibly can so that your bases can get you up! If it's just the counts you're having problems with just mark it over...
Follow all the advise of team bonding & find out why people are quitting, and try to see if you can fix the problem. For example, one girl on my squad was upset because she was always in the back due to poor jumps. So we put her in the back for a jump sequence and then moved so other people...
1. When did you start cheerleading? This is my second year.
2.Whats your position on your team (flyer, base, etc) Main base
3. How do you wear your hair for cheer practice? High ponytail/high side ponytail
4. Wheres your favorite place to buy cheer apparel? Varsity
5. Name one place your teams...
If you decide to take a break and wait until you feel better to start conditioning and working out again, not only will you be missing out on practice time, but it will take longer to heal. Put on some icy hot (MY BEST FRIEND), take some advil, and do the best thing for your legs: keep working them.
So I am one of three captains on the JV squad at me high school. We are coming up with our new halftime routine. We are including basic stunts such as show-and-gos, half ups, full downs, and a back walkover out of a cradle.
In the beginning, we have a pretty intense jump sequence. Once freshman...
