Practicing it over and over again correctly helps with muscle memory! Once your muscles know what to do it comes easily, even if you have to manipulate them at first. Have you tried any drills with bands to force your arms to stay by your ears and force good head and body position?

Tell them to go home and get a can of vegetables out of the cabinet and practice standing on it and pulling body positions while they watch tv! Practice makes perfect! And the more practice the better.

Stretch out those Hams and Hip Flexors!! Also, build muscle in the abs, quads, glutes, and lower back to lift those muscles. Flexibility is nothing if you don't have the strength to control it! :)

The backspot should help with the take off by helping the flyer push off from the ground, watch the ankle during the twist up, then catch at the top.

I would do a level 2 tumbling skill after jumps instead of a forward roll. I know you can't connect a BHS to a jump, but you can pause and throw one, or step back and throw one.
