Can someone confirm for me, if there is an Senior 5 Worlds Team with 16 girls, will they have the option of competing XS or Small, or will they have to compete XS based on the Age/Rules Grid and number of athletes increasing to 16 for the 2018-19 season. Do they have an option?

I just wish they would bring back Bid announcements to the actual competitions. It’s so much more exciting for the athletes, parents and coaches who are all in the moment of surprise. Now, it’s almost known who will be receiving bids after scores are released, hunted down, etc. We...
There is a universal problem with judging and there is clear biased, Subjective, unfair favoritism in AllStar scoring and if you don't agree you are living in a dream. I've seen teams drop 2 stunts Day 1 and their entire pyramid Day 2 and still walk away with not only 1st place but Grand...
This was my thought as well, are they adding these new divisions to eliminate competing International and not have to follow the IASF for the US teams? There was so much hype about the changes they wanted to make to baskets and tumbling and our current structure would have hurt those teams...
Some girls who have been on a worlds team since the age of 12 quit once they get into High School and do HS cheer. If they can't make a worlds team before HS, they may just quit altogether earlier than planned if there dream is to go to Worlds. Not all girls, but some... And parents might not...
What are your thoughts or knowledge on the age for senior teams changing next season? It was going to be 11 for senior teams this year, but was revoked. How about Worlds Level 5, will the minimum age possibly increase to 13 or 14? I would imagine that could be a huge impact on teams who have...
We have always competed as D1 even though we fall under 125 athletes, but the families do typically support all the teams. No, I’m not in favor of a proposal that would require Gyms that declare D2 ( if they get to choose) to have a Worlds L5 Team compete at the D2 Summit, however I really...
In smaller gyms, the % is very high, lots of these kids have grown up in AllStar and in smaller programs, competed at lower levels very successfully allowing them to enhance their skills and be able to compete on Worlds teams. The parents on lower levels typically support the Workds athletes...
As a Parent POV and from a demographic region where every gym that fields a Worlds Level 5 team could technically be D2 based on the numbers in the gym; except 1 because of the franchise rule. Most if not all of these gyms have always competed D1 for all of their teams regardless of falling...
I see a mass exodus of a lot of teams, this is crazy. If this was meant for the bottom line, they will end up losing money due to teams not competing anymore. Makes zero logical sense and quite frankly, is an injustice to the members of these teams who have worked so hard and are extremely...
