    All-Star Covid-19 / Varsity Response

Even in a state like Georgia where gyms can reopen Friday that is allowed on the presumption there can be adequate social distancing at the facility. So maybe under that parameter some fitness centers that can guarantee proper spacing can re open but I’m not sure how an allstar cheer team would...

    High School Air Track

We have a 27 foot long one which is pretty long but if my daughter wants to do a longer pass she starts the run from the grass and seems to easily transition on the mat...just a heads up if you haven’t thought about that to make her more comfortable [emoji4] Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

    All-Star Covid-19 / Varsity Response

I wouldn’t say that gyms that open May 1st will be “good and ready” many of them will have taken almost an 8 week break by then [emoji2372] especially for what is supposed to be their premier comp of the year. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

    All-Star Covid-19 / Varsity Response

I was thinking the same exact thing about how interesting that it isn’t on any of their social media pages but found it on the official summit website. I thought at first it was an April Fools Joke since it circulated yesterday but then when I saw it was actually updated on website [emoji2360]...

    All-Star Covid-19 / Varsity Response

I understand they are throwing it out there just don’t agree with it. I know it’s terrible for kids who it’s their last year and that makes me heart broken for them but I think it’s time to just move on and have gyms create new teams in May and focus on the 20/21 season. As a year round sport...

    All-Star Covid-19 / Varsity Response

At this point, most gyms (assuming they are following CDC guidelines) won’t be practicing thru at least the end of March and I think signs point to even longer so a virtual comp really isn’t realistic unless you happened to have a video already [emoji2372] Its unfortunate but sadly I think the...

    All-Star Age Grid 2020-2021

While I do think the age gap on lower end is too low I can say as a parent of a 9 year old (cheer age 8) on a higher level junior team, it isn’t the handful of 9 year olds on the team that have trouble listening/staying on task. I would say at least on our team the nine year olds are just as...

    All-Star Age Grid 2020-2021

Yes that is what I was thinking too. Seems to open door for more 12 year olds vs just the ones that turn 12 after August. I think it’s great. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

    All-Star Age Grid 2020-2021

Very curious is age cut off changed bc no one has mentioned youth moving up but it says birth year 2008 is eligible for a youth team. Kids born in that year until today (really until August 31st for that matter) are already 12 so under old grid wouldn’t be eligible for youth but it appears they...

    All-Star Age Grid 2020-2021

I’m thinking cutoff date had to change only bc screenshot I saw listed by birth year what team you’d be eligible for and that wouldn’t work with a mid year cut off so would love to know for sure too. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

    All-Star Summit Question

Assuming a team earns a bid in both USASF and IASF divisions, can they compete at both summits? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

    All-Star Deductions

A couple times at Jamfest I saw a .33 deduction...when looking at the Varsity webpage at their deduction page I don’t see a deduction for .33 can someone tell me what results in a .33 deduction? Thanks!! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

    All-Star 2019-2020 Worlds Teams

With the current level 5 becoming level 6 will those worlds athletes be able to compete level 4 at Summit. The current rule allows a handful of kids on a summit team that competed at worlds but it has to be on a level 4 team. With summits rule if you can only cross one level up or down then you...

All-Star Senior Age And World’s Age Eligible Age

I was doubtful too. We have a couple people at our gym that are adamant that it says they will grandfather those kids in and that it states so in the age grid/rules but I couldn't verify that information anywhere. @BlueCat have you seen or heard anything on that? My child doesn't fall into...

All-Star Senior Age And World’s Age Eligible Age

Curious how gyms will handle the age change....will they bother to put 11 year olds on a senior team this upcoming season knowing the following season they’ll have to bump down...is there any talk of “grandfathering” those kids in on a senior team (I think that would be a nightmare to mange...)...

    All-Star Worlds 2019 Day 3

Four US teams moved to to finals in International Large Open Coed. The rule is top three per country move forward. USA Reinz and 005 tied for third in semis. There is a tie breaker in place. IASF decided to forgo their rules and allowed four US teams in finals. Had they followed rule 005 would...

    All-Star Worlds 2019 Day 3

I understand your logic on there would be no silver with co champions but in this case 005 shouldn’t have made it to finals. Had IASF followed their rules, on Monday it would have been 1st Nfinity, 2nd Outlaws and 3rd PCT. PCT absolutely earned the bronze (just as Nfinty won gold), again I love...

All-Star Canadian Team "robbed" At Worlds - Thoughts?

I love 005 but why should they think it’s unfair? It doesn’t matter if they scored higher in finals...they shouldn’t have advanced to finals to begin with. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
