White Skirts (with under shorts) I can sort of get behind, but strict white booty shorts or “skorts” (skirts in front, booty shorts in back) is a no Beuno for this mama.

Totally agree with you on the bra thing. My daughter would have a hard time with that as well. I do like the colors though.

You have taken the safety aspect completely out of the picture. There are waaaaay too many teams at worlds right now throwing skills that should NEVER see a competition floor. How many of those kids get hurt or got hurt trying to get their marginal skill? All in the name of XYZ all stars being...

I entirely agree that those types of teams should not be at worlds as we know it. We all say the same thing every year about those types of teams. Not every team or kid should be able to go to worlds, but We know that having a “worlds” team is as much about gym marketing as it is anything else...

I don’t think that’s entirely the goal. Part of what makes this sport Unique apart from power tumbling or gymnastics is the stunting. No other Olympic sport has that as an element. I admit, I side eyed this non-tumbling division at first too, but the reality is there are an incredible amount...

Mine too.... 4.2 is where she will stay unless she breaks through it, which after 3 years, I’m very Sad to admit, but I don’t think it will happen. I’m excited to see this 5.0 division! I was kind of side eyeing it at first but now I’m excited to see where it will go!

Can non tumbling worlds athletes cross to any level at summit?

The scores from the top 4 must be soooo close. I’m sure there is a ton of reviewing going on.

I think as a parent with those huge wildcard divisions, I’d be unhappy paying for an expensive trip to Disney with the current odds of making it through. I suspect many teams opted out of going because of those reasons. This will make accepting those wildcard bids a little more attractive...

cheerupdates posted it briefly and then took it down at Varsity’s request. Looks like most teams are competing in the tents unless I read it wrong. Maybe some level 5 and 3 in the field house? It seemed Visa center/Johnston’s is being used for awards only. So disappointing since there are...

Um...The uniform is beautiful and practical. It’s a nope from me on the hair.

Top dog had some issues but I really like Their routine.
