I think it would have made more sense to change junior upper limit for next season to 2005. In this grid, kids who aged out of junior last season (ie dob april 2004-turned 15 in April 2019) can now be back on junior team next season after a one year hiatus. By making it 2005 you ensure kids...
I’ve heard of people selling their park tickets but I’ve never done it. I don’t want to try to find someone to buy my tickets I just want to have the option to pay comp fee+ wwos entrance directly as part of varsity offering.
This year I don’t know who would buy a 2 day park hopper that costs...
CEA Charlotte tweeting about having Youth 4 too. Looks like that division is making a comeback. When my CP was first in that division there was Prodigy, WE, Stingrays, CEA Raleigh, CEA Charlotte, Spirit of Texas and Cheer Athletics and then over the past few years it got smaller but it looks...
The trends I’m noticing so far:
Less teams/larger in size
More high level youth and junior teams
Lots of gyms introducing lower level international teams this season. I’m seeing lots of junior international teams levels 1-4
More non tumble teams
I understand that position/opinion but I do think there are scenarios that make an xs a viable option for gyms with more than 1 worlds team. Gym puts together a medium coed team and they still have girls that have solid level 6 skills but didn’t make the medium senior 6 team and team has to stay...
Previously worlds athletes could cross to 4 because 5 was only one level above. However with 6 being the new 5; if they are allowing worlds (level 6) to cross to 4 then the rules will need to be updated and if they are updating the crossover rules I’m curious if it will only apply to 4/5/6 or...
I think there is still room for “extra”. Like a small team can have 22 (5 stunt groups and 2 tumblers) as opposed to that same team of 22 putting up 4 stunts and having 6 tumblers.
