Yep...that's what it is. It was so freaky looking. Her arm looked like an S. When my husband took her in the ER, he said people would look at her and get this look on their face and cover their eyes and look away.

With roughly 40 divisions in Youth thru Senior levels 1 thru Restricted 5, with 400 bids, that only averages out to 10 teams per division...I'm sure some of the more populated divisions will have more and smaller divisions less. Compare that with over 300 bids awarded to 10 World's divisions...

If cash can't be given back to an athlete once it has been deposited to the booster club, why doesn't she just see if she can have the funds transferred to a friends account that is still at the gym... then have the friend give her money the next time the friend would have been making a payment...

How about if Varsity's Summit takes over USASF's contract at Disney for Worlds, and Worlds finds a new bigger home!

actually they are only about 30 miles apart, so if they had a place half way in between it wouldn't be too bad.

But when large teams go to a competition and they are the only large team, they compete against medium...at least that is how it was this last season with the team my daughter was on.

I think the most heated/hated rivals are the ones where the gyms are in close proximity, and there has been a fair amount of athletes that have left one gym to go to the other.

This all just confuses me. Since when is the torso such a horrible thing to be seen in public. 8 year olds wear two piece bathing suits to the pool, beach, lakes, rivers...which are all very public places. There is no NEED to wear a two piece swim suit, but they do and no one that I know of has...

This is just my opinion, but what happens when the 15 year old 110lb flyer is replaced by a 12 year old 80lb girl. The 15 year old has probably never based a day in her life, and suddenly she is expected to base level 5 stunts. I definitely see someone getting hurt in that scenario as well.
