Our gym is calling athletes that might be disappointed ahead of the team reveal party (I think). I have a feeling the team my cp will be placed on will not work for us so that might be a little awkward because I can't make a 5:00 practice start time unless someone else can drive her (ie...
My / Her ideal team would be:
- a team with a few of her close friends
- a team she can base on
- a team with someone we can car pool with
- a team with practice that starts after 6pm
I think that covers it!
Cheer Sport Sharks Hammerhead Sharks are going - 4.2
and I think the Caribbean Sharks are a Sr 4 but they are co-ed so that might be a different division.
I can't find any past schedules. We're going and competing Y2 - based on past schedules, what time do you think awards will be done on Sunday? I wanted to start heading home after awards, but I have no idea if it will be 12 noon, 5pm, 8pm, .... I was thinking with a young age division it would...
Same. I know what Summit is, but I didn't even realize that was a special kind of bow - it kind of made me think of gift wrap at first - it didn't scream 'cheer' to me.
Does this only apply to countries other than the US and Canada? I'm confused about the 14 and up for the Sr teams - a lot of our SR teams have girls younger than 14 on them.
I let my daughter lead any conversations about cheer. I don't mention it, ever. I don't watch her tumbling lessons or practice. I stepped waaaay back. So I don't ask anything other than "how was practice" when I pick her up from practice and if she wants to talk about anything that happened...
Hi. I'm so sorry to hear that, I know how stressful it is as a parent to watch your child struggle. My daughter had one for about two years and every time I watched her it broke my heart to watch her struggle and I never knew what the best thing was to do for her. I really never knew if we...
I've been watching my kid fly - she's tall and lightweight... she's the tallest flyer on the team. I notice that the stunts are just harder with her compared to the smaller flyers. The smaller flyers are more compact and the stunts just seem to execute easier when there's a bigger height...
My cp wears vengeance because she likes them better for tumbling since they're lighter. It hadn't occurred to me that they might not be good flyer shoes, but she's worn them for the past few years and flies.
Who is saying she'll be held on a level 1 team? If she has all her level 2 tumbling, bring her to the level 2 tryouts. She'll learn to stunt level 2 during the season.
If your season is done, then I I think you'd still need to pay - you got a full season out of it but are just paying the last few months of the installments. Sorry your cp is injured. Hope the injury heals quickly!
