Bolded exactly why I no longer attend these competitions. It's not that they're biased towards "bigger" gyms per say, but any team that is returning or brand new to their events, you tend to see scores lean in their direction. A real slippery slope if you ask me.
LOL, no it is not. Both of those competitions are significantly larger, and better for that matter. I attended Cali Finale every year besides this one because of how poorly it is run. I hope and pray that if they truly want teams from the other side of the country to fly out here, they'll fix it...
The way they did it at NCA for the arena was so perfect. Separate section in the upper section of seating, manned by an employee with a schedule that called out the name of the team or the gym and then escorted them to the section. Tons of shimmies for that!!
This might be a tad late, but when I was cheering I would make sure to bring my inhaler with me to every practice and competition. I would give my inhaler to a coach before warm ups, use it during warm ups if needed, and as soon as I was off of the competition floor they would bring the inhaler...
Final schedules are pretty much out, not a lot will be changing between now and then.

Sadly the gym I coach at is not attending or you know I'd be all over getting it out...:p
And as a side note, my profile pic is of a drag queen, not me, but I'll take all the compliments I can get ;)
