Yes! Finding a room with more than one bed nearby is costly. The Hyatt is walking distance but $399/night and the Omni is the same but only one bed. So frustrating.
Seriously? I've taught people on the spectrum for over 20 years and what I've learned is none are alike. They may have similar behaviors, such as tippie-toe walking, arm flapping, etc. but be very different. People think of Rainman when they think of ASD and that is atypical.
If they treat you differently, they are not your friends. But it is up to you to tell them. You don't have to. Your coaches must maintain confidentiality so they can't disclose that information to anyone.
