I have never heard of a gym doing this and I wouldn't be in favor of completing a W9 to access the paid bid funds. We received a paid bid last year and the check was sent to the gym in plenty of time for us to register so there wasn't any need to refund athletes. Did you upgrade to paid after...
I had to register my kid last week for summit and now I'm trying to figure out how the hell to purchase tickets for family members. There are instructions online, but you can't register that way if your kid is already registered..... Anyone have any ideas on how to do this? I was hoping to...
The venue at Harrah's is not suitable. The ballroom doesn't have enough seating and because of the set up you can actually only watch from the VIP area. No one else in the venue can easily see the stage and there's no video coverage. This is what you get for a $25 a day entry fee. There is a...
Actually this isn't the right one. The comp I linked to is in Early Dec at Harrahs in Atlantic City. I did read this thread - same company but diff comp
Anyone know anything about this comp. We are thinking of going because the timing and location work for us - but there's literally no info online.
Cheer Tech's Spirit Nationals
So we actually discovered who got this and it pisses me off. At cheerlebrity - their bid declaration stated that they had one bid for every level. So when the team that won the L4 bid got paid - we assumed that the bid that they passed down would go to the next L4 highest scoring team. Well...
Completely agree and considering the talent at the higher levels - it seems so hard to get a bid at those high levels. Take level 4 for example - all level 4 teams, including 4.2 and level 4 co-eds (of which there are several). And is it just me or are there a ton of level 2 teams going to the...
That's the situation we are in but no call yet. I did look up the bid declaration for the original comp and they gave 1 bid per level. I wonder if that's how they will pass it down too. I have the score sheet for the entire comp and we were to highest at our level (and the available "passed...
Thank you - that is very helpful! I wish it was easier. We are done with our bid comps so this is our chance and they originally missed out by 0.3. It seems so unfair for them to not get it. I guess there's nothing we can do but wait.
They published the scores for the whole comp and we are next highest at that level. The team that got the at large bid just got paid so we are assuming it goes to us - but others said it doesn't always go by scores and we have heard nothing yet.
Thanks that's what I thought too. I know we are next in line for a bid - but it's confusing to sit here and wait to see if we actually get it. What would be the reasons to skip us and move to a different team?
For those teams who upgrade from an At Large Bid to Paid - where does the at large go? I know it gets passed down - I'm not clear where it gets passed? Does their AL get passed down at this comp where they earned the paid or at the original comp where they earned the AL? The rules used to...
Also anyone clear on the the stay to play criteria? We are a last minute addition (covering for an injury) so I don't have a room and the housing has closed already. I contacted them and they said make your own reservation but I'm not sure that's correct.
