I know it's a bit early to discuss new stunt rules for HS, but I saw a UCA instructor post a handspring full up to extension and say it's going to be legal for HS's next year! If that's true, I can't wait to see teams try it!

There is a point for making open teams 18+, mainly the whole thing of minors being on a team with adults much older than them. Considering the various situations with athletes and gym owners we've had over the last few years it's a welcomed change.

Yup it was around for a year or two back when I cheered. They eventually got rid of it assume enough teams complained about it. You do still see the buns on occasion depending on the team.

I wish worlds was like how it used to be: levels 5 and 6 (now 6 and 7), and separated by team size and all girl/coed. Seeing how bloated it's become kind of killed the prestige of the event. I liked the idea of summit with the 1-4 levels having a big end of year comp ala worlds.

I do miss when it was just team size separating each division and level (back when it was just level 5 and 6). But sadly, the $$$ comes first.

The tuck thing is still going strong! But I did see several squads doing gameday at UCA this year. Maybe they'll transition to a UCA style in the future if more teams compete.

I wish Varsity still did the "free" videos. They made a UDA vault full of amazing routines, including a prop division routine! (I've only seen this division at USA dance nationals.)
