It is illegal....or atleast was. We had a girl on a youth team with a broken arm. She did one handed bwo and got a deduction. I don't recall the exact rule and it was 2 years ago but just sayin.
You can miss 3 practices before you are kicked off the team sept-May. My daughter only missed one due to holiday. If you miss one of the 2 practices before a comp you will not compete. They are very strict and will follow through
I'm sorry but it doesn't sound like a very good "gym". The larger gym will more likely have a better spot for her. She is not a level 2 athlete and her being on a level 2 team is a real disservice to her. I've never heard of a cheer gym that didn't have open spots at tumbling classes. I think...
