And you my young'un....you have such a positive head on your shoulders, and a pureness. Don't lose it, never lose sight of what you just said now. It'll take you so far in life.
I had to admit, when I started college cheer, I wasn't expecting the $$$ the sport required. Now this is coming from somebody who came out of the Hockey world. What has always gotten me was the Uniform Costs, especially for something an athlete might wear 10-15x per-season maybe less. I mean...
As a base I prefer flyers who wear the Defiance or even the side line Game Day shoe. Although I would like the base somebody wearing the newer Titans. I find the Vengeance to and Evolution shoe kind of flimsy to base with. I personally have only worn Evolutions and oddly enough they've lasted...
LOL I switched to the new Retina MacBook Pro in September. The other day I was carrying my friends older Macbook Pro for her. OMG it felt like I'd crammed three cheerleaders in there it felt so heavy.
The School year before last, a girl who currently cheers on PCT Cobras Temptation was in my program, and switched into General Arts and Science last year and that program has a ton of Textbooks plus your computers and she was using an Nfinity Classic for College.
I'd go with Glasgow Athletics
Silver, Blue and Yellow look amazing together
Then for the first year you could pick your teams for the levels and perhaps allow your team kids to make name suggestions and have a program wide vote.
You can find them online, as well as any skateboarding or even big box sports store. You can get them online on amazon tons of options. Actually they're sports & technical bags so they're very durable with a limited life time warranty on zippers and seams. I had a seam along a zipper break on a...
You could try looking at some of the larger 33L backpacks made my Dakine. They're not cheer specific but I've had the same one for more than 12 years and it's held up amazingly.
Oh when I coach hockey, I'm carrying a bag that could smuggled a Large Tiny Team, and their coach who used to be a pro NFL player. I can definitely understand coaches carting a lot of stuff.
I can't really speak for a Flyer, I mean the only times I've ever flown were a few misguided misadventures involving four 6'5 competitive adult hockey players, and being generally stupid ( but that's a story for another day).
These were things I learned doing Seventh Day Adventist styled...
LOL, at my first comp last season, doing a two two one. The flyer's foot snagged onto my pants on the way down a took them down about 6 inches. So happy I wore underwear that matched the uniform. I was literally trying to transition clean while pulling my pants up.
I'm that cheer guy, who packs efficiently, and very compact. Tons of space isn't a huge competition priority for me. If it's a night trip I have my travel bag from hockey. Just looking for a on the floor pack. However I've been known to carry a lot of snacks from time to time.
