Woodlands Elite Cincinnati is closing. I can't screenshot right now, but they sent out an email basically saying they had way less kids try out than expected.
While I do think there are wayyyyyy too many divisions at worlds, I think international NT is fine as a worlds division. However, I think U18 NT should be moved to The Summit, but that won't happen, and we all know why. There was a discussion a while ago comparing tumbling level 6 to figure...
As a native Houstonian, it's still weird seeing Woodlands Elite Ohio haha.
Magic All Stars in California is closing.
Was this gym the "magic" part of Pacific Coast Magic? Their worlds team is called Fantasy, and PCM had a Fantasy, I'm wondering if that's a coincidence.
Woodlands Elite has a new location opening in DeLand, FL which is near Daytona apparently. (I like that the street name is Woodland Blvd). Someone in the comments on a different post said they are taking over another gym, but I can't find a gym with that address so idk.
I understand that cheer...
I still don't like the calling gold first thing. I wish they would call bronze, silver, and gold in that order. These athletes are all senior and open age, surely they can contain their excitement for 30 seconds while 2nd place has their moment.
ALSO, I'm really glad Cali Coed won (and not just...
I'm very happy with the IO6 placements, though I would have liked to see Golden Girls globe again! Have Kelly Girls globed at non-virtual worlds before?
KC winning was fun to watch, LOVE seeing first time gold medals, those are always some of the best moments.
Thank you! I never heard of them til this weekend tbh. I was wondering why they are called Wildcat, that didn't fit with the team names ECE usually has.
(side note, I really miss the "informative" button!)
I really hate Midnight's unis.
IO7
1 - ECE Wildcat 7
2 - Vancouver All Stars Blackout
3 - GT Gold
I'm ecstatic for ECE but I was realllly hoping Vancouver would finally win an in person gold this year.
More new Stingrays locations:
Core Athletix (from what I gather, they have 3 locations in NY) will now be Stingrays
Stingrays Fort Lauderdale, this looks like it might be completely new, but I'm not 100% sure.
