I could really use a recommendation for an affordable but good music mixer for my rec team. Someone that is responsive to emails and delivers when they say they will, oh and doesn't give you mixes that go over the time limit and hits the counts you give them.
I'm not looking at this from a personal perspective, my own team has won us finals even though it was difficult. But when I look around at the division it is becoming an all star division and it should not be for exactly the reasons you brought up. Not everyone can afford to be an all star. Some...
Pop warner team's are split by age groups with a minimum and a maximum age. I don't think these teams should have to stick to pop warner comps. What exactly is the point of having a rec division at all if in practice it essentially is allowed to be an all star division that may cheer for a sport...
Pop warner team's, true rec team's that cheer for football, are not allowed to have tryouts and are not allowed to have paid staff. Guess where a lot of those teams place at us finals - the bottom. The scoresheet is so focused on tumbling that no matter how clean and tight you are, a team with...
Well, I have to say I am disappointed to see teams that do not cheer for a sport in the Rec division yet again this year. Not just at the US finals events but all the qualifiers as well. Its clearly stated in the rules that you must cheer for a sport and not be affiliated with a school or all...
if you look closely, there are no actual rhinestones in that mesh - I would imagine its impossible to fold as well since its probably very thick.
The best way to apply a large volume of rhinestones is to buy or make your own rhinestone template (there are two kinds - sticky flock and the green...
This was a rule for some Jambrand events I went to this year, and it was ignored. Gyms not only had multiple crossovers from full year teams, even from higher levels, I even saw full year TEAMS compete as all star prep and even as Rec. Sadly, sandbagging has been worse than ever with this new...
Pretty sure I got some mixed up scoresheets too, comments and bobble timing/placement dont match up...of course they said they think they are right...sigh (and this was the second session)
This is nothing more than a way for an event producer to get gyms to compete more to buy their bid with points, small gyms, gyms in less wealthy areas and half year teams will be hurt more than the big gyms. We all complain about there not being enough competition at some events, season enders...
Do you know what glue to use with acrylic rhinestones (especially the larger ones), E-6000 seems to melt the backing on these so that the stones look crackeled?
Has anyone had this problem - when I buy fabric from a certain bow company that sells fabric - they ALWAYS short me, and not by just a little. Two lengths of fabric that I bought were over a yard short! I only noticed the first time that I was shorted because I bought one yard and it did not...
I use Aleene's Fast Grab tacky glue, just on the edges. It shows through on whites and very light color/thin ribbons but otherwise its great. I do use in on the edges for sequin dot and lace as well
