13 years of cheer. My daughter competed for the last time yesterday. After 13 years, she ends her cheer career as a SUMMIT CHAMPION!!! Her team won the U19 L2 division. This was her senior year and she won the 2 she’d never won, NCA and Summit!!

If this is the division I'm thinking of, they announced a team and then took apparently it away. I wonder if because they initially announced it, they let them go through.

Props make me nervous, so many ways can go wrong. Glad that doesn't impact them.

The issue SMOED has at the end with the flag, how is that scored or does that impact them?

Is there one or something similar for international teams? Not necessarily the U17/19 division but the teams actually from other countries.

My understanding from a friend who’s daughter is on a NT team, finals will be top 10 from semis regardless of country.

I think this was their response to those upset that the Youth teams were eliminated from the FL event. At the end of the day, V isn’t going to stop and think wait, what if a family has a child in each event? They are almost damned if they do and damned if they don’t.

I actually thought, until this weekend, that’s what they did. Or at least something along those lines. I thought those people at the bleachers were the parents. I saw people sitting on the floor next to the bleachers. So I assumed it was parents.

My daughter competed in her 5th NCA. Most likely her final as she is a Senior. I am so happy to say she is an NCA Champion!!!! L2 U19!
