And I completely agree… but how do you know only the best doesn’t mean a XS team from a small gym? It’s hard to see the bias when your not the one who’s being treated different. When a team can preform the elite level skills plus 2-3 more on each category for stunting and tumbling, and hit...
I don’t understand why so many people are upset about this. The common complaint I see is that it’s a money grab. That there are too many divisions already and that is a small gym can’t handle the competition they should go back to a D2 division somewhere else. The real problem is that it is a...
It’s a beautiful facility. Our old gym had the chance to practice there before NCA years ago. Our girls were in total heaven and us coaches were in awe.
Wow... needlessly salty? Really? Apparently you didn’t bother to read what I had posted above after others offered their advice. That last commment was just needlessly rude.
They also put in their declaration that they could award another team in another division that bid. (I’m not going to explain it all again: it’s shown above) If they had done that (like their declaration states) then all 5 top scoring teams would have had the bids... us included. So yes, I...
Bottom line, it sucks no matter how you put it...but at least now I can see a little better what happened. Instead of taking the coed bid and giving it to a coed open (which from what I read could have been a possibility) and then awarding us with the bid as the next highest they just went down...
I don’t quite understand what your saying.
“ACP reserves the right to award an originally designated International Open/Open Coed/Senior Open/Senior Open Coed Paid Bid to a Senior/Senior Coed Team or vice versa.”
Actually, it could have been done differently. As stated in the declaration, they hold the right to give a bid that was to go to an Open team to a Sr/Sr Coed or vise versa. They filled all their declaration requirements. They gave 1 to a all girl, 1 to a coed (open team) and 1 to a open (again a...
Ok... I totally need to vent and I’m hoping maybe someone can help me to understand (because American Cheer Power won’t explain themselves). Our team attended a competition this past weekend and got robbed of a PAID bid. There were 5 Paid bids handed out and the first 4 were given to the top 4...
Super excited that my daughter’s team (1st year XS) got a bid to Worlds!! We have been to Summit a few times and know how it works but I’m wondering if anyone could fill me in on what’s different at Worlds from Summit? Any helpful tips and things that are a must know? Thanks!
