    All-Star Random Cheerleading Questions

I know that 5 Worlds athletes can crossover to a Summit team. But is that for each team - so 5 athletes from your Worlds team compete on a level 4 and a different 5 compete on a different level 4? So 10 worlds athletes from one team on two different Summit teams, if that makes sense?

All-Star New Changes - Divisions For Worlds

But if you were in the Open 4 division you would be competing against other teams in that division that are 14+ not against 8 year olds. So should that division not be offered a end of year championship in your opinion?

Spirit Of Texas Royalty, Day 1 And 2 Comparison Video - Cheersport 2018

I thought they looked amazing both days. Perhaps they should have gotten a higher score Day 1, too!

    All-Star Worlds Age Change???

But couldn't the 13 & 14 year old be able to fly on a Worlds team next year?

    All-Star Worlds Age Change???

I'm curious what the age grids are for competitive dance teams? Not the dance teams at cheer competitions which probably follows something similar to cheer, but the competitions with dance teams from actual dance studios.

    All-Star Worlds Age Change???

I agree that J5 will become a lot stronger and a bigger division. Especially if the junior bottom age stays the same. In that case, the J5 will still be able to use the tiny, young flyers while Worlds teams will have to lift girls more their size. I still don't think it will dominate nor do I...

    All-Star Nca 2018

Did NCA always have the no crossover rule? I wonder if thats why the smaller number after 2015?

    All-Star Worlds Age Change???

I am not sure on gymnastics but I know with figure skating to compete at the Worlds & International level in the senior age group, there is a minimum age of 15, I believe. And 13 is the minimum age for the junior level. I think at smaller domestic competitions there is no age requirement - just...

    All-Star Worlds Age Change???

But wouldn't they be older then by the time they make the Worlds team? So the age change would probably make no difference in that case of a late bloomer, I think it would effect the younger kids with high level skills the most.

All-Star The Summit 2017 Video Thread

I think a lot of gyms are realizing that they need a place for true beginners and are now offering Prep Teams for those athletes! After a year of being on a Prep Team and learning the basics, then they are placed on a full year team the following year. I think it makes it a lot easier transition...

All-Star The Summit 2017 Video Thread

I agree with the excessive sandbagging, but I don't see it at all in this case. She currently has level 3 tumbling skills, so a level 2/3 seems quite appropriate for her current skill level. She may have landed her full a few years ago, but if she no longer has it, it's not going to be of much...

All-Star Replacing Athletes With New Athletes...

@justpeachy I'm glad you shared your story because I have a feeling this happens more often than we hear about. Hopefully a coach or a gym owner will read your story and it will remind them that while they may be trying to do what is best for the team, they also need to realize that the team is...
