Thank you! We will be having a serious sleepover weekend watching the live feed this year. I have really only thought of this from a spectator standpoint since that's what I am, but I can't even imagine having to deal with multiple family members, choosing who gets to go, etc. Good luck to you!
LOL, here is my life story. I think the tips are pretty basic!
I always book through Expedia and book my hotel, flight and car. I never buy the package through the USASF (I'm not there for Disney.. I'm there for cheerleading). We always fly out at "odd times". For example, last year we flew out...
Last year.. I loved exaggerated and theatrical movements.
This year.. I love exaggerated and theatrical celebrations.
My trip to Worlds has never cost more than $350 (airfare, car rental, hotel, tickets, food). Admission is going to take up most of that budget now. RIP Worlds trip every year.
Am I the only one excited for when the link to "Floor Examples" has actual examples? I wonder if it'll be real performances from Worlds or a bunch of USASF staff demonstrating and reenacting "excessive celebrating" and "team rituals".
Fingers crossed for the second one; I think it would be way...
Can I be "that person" that asks what channel you're all watching? I have cycling on regular NBC, fencing on MSNBC and boxing on CNBC.
ETA: I meant to add "but no gymnastics".
I actually thought the opposite .. "Susie can't go to The Summit, but Sally will already be at Worlds so why doesn't she just stay?"
If an athlete is already missing Monday from school, what's another few days? (I'm in no way supporting kids not going to school/parents keeping their kids in FL...
The name reminds me of the Real World/Road Rules Challenges on MTV.
I wonder how many Level 5 athletes at gyms that compete at Worlds have siblings on talented teams that will be competing less than a week later in the same location.
I didn't watch the trailer- but if it's Dean Kain (Cain?) it's apparent he is. He will also be looking for true love on Fox's "The Choice" this Summer.
This was something my sister and I said when we were being asked to leave since we didn't have a blood relative competing. Why don't the VIPs get up and offer their seats to the moms and dads? It would've been much easier to bring them into there than random seats in the Milkhouse.
Wow- I got to the Milkhouse at 6:45am on Sunday so I didn't get to see a lot of the outside crowding (I was fearful if I got up my seat would be auctioned to the highest bidder). I just saw the picture someone put up in the Meme's thread.. that is NOT okay. There were moments where I thought...
