Our team last year did a 2 night retreat at a retreat house. It was perfect. Private with indoor pool and nice pond. We did many team bonding games/activites where they had to work together...slip and slide bannana race.....scavanger hunt, duct tape fashion show...Hawaiian themed cookout...

10. I will not let cp join extra curricular activities that will interfere with practice on a regular basis then expect all the other athletes and parents to be understanding. Life happens and special occasions come up...but come on people. It is hard to have any kind of team if they don't have...

This one cracks me up! See it all the time. Would never do this myself. I figure that if she isn't dedicated enough to cheer to not be bribed then it is going to be a long road for her in the future.
