We have "guidelines" set in place for our athletes. No cell phones in their skirt, no ugg boots with uni. They can wear a gym shirt with their skirt, or their warm ups...as long as they are covered while not competing or at awards. It's all about looking professional!

We have two stunt stands that have helped the girls tremendously. Another thing that helps for the girls that like to "hula dance" is the Wii fit tight rope walk. It forces you to balance and learn to hold your belly button over your toes with good posture.

I personally love the cover up rule, not only as a coach but also as a retired cheerleader. I look at it this way, when you wake up every morning for work you are excepted to dress professionally. This very same rule applies to the athletes. You are at a competition to do a job. You are not...

she has a black sports bra on due to someone else borrowing hers. We had shipping issues with getting all of the bras in that were all red. Every girl in the gym is required to wear a red sports bra under their uniform.

they do still have their hair. i used to cheer there, it was the best part of any uniform!
