Question? Why aren't there Canadian trials in the IO and IOC division at Worlds? The US has trials to bring the number of teams down to 10 moving into Semis. Its an extra opportunity for the US teams to be on the scoresheet (without a rubric), to get feedback, make adjustments and be on the...
The black shirt is our "family shirt" and separate shirts for each team going to Worlds. PCT Cobras (Canada)
And this is the shirt that most Canadian teams participate in - it lists the Canadians coming to Worlds.
Not to split hairs but "Now that registration is closed for CFTC, I guess it's okay to say it"...implies that you were hiding it, for some reason, though lord knows why.
I'm friends with a few of the Flyers athletes, I know that their IOC 5 team (Notorious) is coming to CFTC. At least that is what they've told me. Just wondering though, if the competition is full and registration is closed, wouldn't it be logical to post the schedule? Its going to be a good...
Countries could offer teams in either level if they so wished, as long as they kept it to two, and one all girl and one coed. And that was discussed - do we maintain a presence in both divisions? The reality is that with 5 wins for all girl elite and 5 wins in coed elite it would be hard to...
I wasn't there last year (my father was sick) but the resolution was passed at the ICU general meeting just prior to Worlds last year. I don't know the rationale but it did pass with only a very few countries opposing it.
Countries are only allowed to field two teams this season - one all girl and one coed is the maximum. A decision to run Elite or Premier had to be made (we aren't allowed to do both). Given that Canada has won 5 times in both All Girl and Coed Elite it is time for a new challenge.
Yup, that was our experience. We'd travel to Nashville and add in a guy from Louisville on the floor for fun. I think at one point we had about 40 people on the team competing at our Nationals. And we weren't even the biggest team!
In my experience the addition of an IOC5 team determined who...
When my gym started our Open team kept us a float. We had a Coed 6 team of upwards of 40 people (who paid) and it was fun and dynamic . This was pre-Worlds. Worlds turned Ontario open teams into a never-ending ever-changing roster of gym jumpers hoping for free tuition, better placement...
Cheer Evolution (formerly Cheer Alliance) was started by the owners of CheerForce Wolpack, Ultimate Canadian Cheer and SuperCheer. Cheer Evolution is currently owned by the owners of CFWP and UCC. They compete at their own events. There aren't a lot of competitions in Canada so it would be very...
