I just want to jump in briefly and say that I am so proud of the athletes and coaches who were able to join the Twisters family and compete at Battle at the Capital. They did a marvelous job and rocked the house during an emotional and tumultuous time. SO IMPRESSED!! SO HAPPY TO HAVE THEM ALL!!!!!

From my close observation, the athletes had a great time as did the fans. It was a blast! The event had a "Worlds" feel to it because there was a sense of exclusivity for both the participants and the audience. It seemed that everyone fed off of each other's energy and that there was GREAT...

I've never met Maddie ... but everything that I've seen of her in warm-ups and on TV is class and grace. I think that she is an excellent ambassador for the sport. Get over it that you weren't chosen. Hang in there Maddie.
