Omg I was at the comp! Spectating though. ;) I loved NU's routine. I was actually rooting for FEU (The one with the jungle theme) to win but I guess UP was cleaner? :)
When I saw that, I had to watch it again...I wasn't expecting that at all. So I went on YouTube and found out that the red haired girl (Tam Rapp) is actually a gymnast lol. :)
Yup, I am a huge fan of Dancers Edge. ;) I love Murrieta Dance Project too, they have amazing turns and technique. :D I agree with you. Abby Lee has better choreo but Stars imo has awesome technique. :)
I kind agree with you on their style. There's only so many times that I can watch the same person do arabesques, penchees, extensions etc. It all looks the same, but I do love their technique. :)
But then, I guess some studios that have certain "styles". There's a studio that I like from...
When you set cheer music as your ringtone + alarm on your phone, and when your friends hear it....they're like, "Oh what song is that?". So I make them listen to the whole thing and try to explain what a cheer mix is, and they still don't get it. :/
CCP Bobcats from the Philippines. We don't have all-stars so this is a college team. I'm guessing they learned their tumbling when they were already in college considering most HS teams barely have back handsprings. :/ :)
When I watched the first episode of Dance Moms Miami, I thought it was really scripted compared to the Abby Lee Dance Moms. I mean the whole Cathy fiasco and stuff is obviously scripted, but for some reason it doesn't really show in the original Dance Moms. Dance Moms Miami seemed like it had to...
-waits to see who will start some thread about sportsmanship and whether or not it's okay to cheer and be happy when you find out you're first place even if it was only the 2nd place team that was called-
I've already seen Jersey Cheer when the pilot episode aired and stuff, and now that I'm rewatching it -- I can see similarities between Patty Ann (Jersey Cheer) and Abby Lee Miller (Dance Moms). "Everyone's replaceable!!" Tralalala. -le screams at people all the time- etc etc.
I looove Mia Diaz! :) When I first watched Dance Moms, I always thought why didn't they feature someone from those awesome YouTube dancers. And I'm really excited Mia gets to be on the show :)
I'm in the middle of watching the new episode, then Kendall's mom was all, "When is Kendall gonna get a solo?" tralalalala, then I realize "OMG WHAT IF SHE'S SUZIE'S MOM" aka "when is suzie gonna get her tic toc?" :))
