Palm Springs Nfinity's - Last Minute Orders!
Hey Guys,
I work for All Things Cheer and Dance. Among the many things we provide to the industry is Nfinity shoes and apparel and we will be taking orders for people attending Palm Springs this weekend to provide a last minute option for you to...
Just wanted to throw out there that in every cut of music there should be a second or two of silence in front of and behind the actual music. So your iPod or music player would read out 2:33 but it really is 2:30 with a couple of seconds of silence in there so it doesn't auto loop while your...
not really....imagine if the tables were turned and this coach came to you telling you how to do your job? (since thats what essentially you are trying to do)...how would you take it? perspective is everything and the only one that will be seen is that you are telling the coach that you could do...
Just to clarify...we were told where to stand and there were plenty of UCA staffers up there guiding everyone to where they needed/wanted us...not sure why if someone wanted a picture they couldnt have asked people to move? I'm not sure we can be bad sports about something when we talked with...
I'm not sure why this kid keeps whining...one second he is on this side of the fence...ten
seconds later he is enjoying the view from the other side...it's quite simple really...as a male cheerleader things are expected from you that aren't expected from the girls and vice versa...either accept...
Try one of two options...either be in a thighstand holding a stunt... or grab a plane ticket! just dont see why you shouldnt be more worried about helping team keep stunts up more than going up in them.
I don't want it to seem that I am biased toward having an American champion forever...I simply think that it's a better road to help developing cheer nations build the same kind of infrastructure we have here so that the sport can gain a stronger foothold and grow exponentially...instead of the...
Absolutely not! So long as they weren't fighting each other...I suppose this will end up having to be one of those agree to disagree things huh? I still think that the benefits in the LONG RUN to international cheerleading far outweigh the costs of not having a champion in the nearer...
Changing the scoresheet SO much to assist the International teams is similar to telling the Heavyweight Boxing champion that he has to defend his belt with his hands tied behind his back....All the training he has accrued to this point is now cut in half...sure you can Dodge, Duck, Dip, Dive...
Not use it...or be VERY selective with what parts you use...no professional cheer music producer would use anything inappropriate in their mixes....just bad policy to do so.
That policy makes no sense though....regardless of what the song may say if the mix is produced well enough you would have no idea....thats like giving a team a deduction because they MAY drop or someone MAY have a hands down....obviously its not your rule though so theres nothing you can do...
I can obviously agree with the semi compulsory elements in the lower levels (It's not what you do but how you do it!) but theres also the trickle down effect and it happens in all levels and styles of cheerleading across the board...yesterdays AG college elites wind up in the next seasons AG HS...
I don't want my comment to be confused as saying that people only join for innovation...i certainly didn't join for that haha Stunting brought me into this great world that is cheerleading. My arguement about staying away from compulsory routines is simply from seeing how gymnastics has gone...
If routines end up becoming compulsory looking i don't think that people will be as interested to join/continue cheerleading...the sport will be there but i'm sure the numbers would drop off and the overall sport would shrink. Simply look at the universal scoresheet arguement....many people fear...
I think that with our ability to change/modify rules in cycles like we have currently will give us the ability to adapt down the road...cheerleading will only go the way of the dinosaurs when we fail to change like them...or a meteor hits us whichever occurs first lol
I think those grey areas are important to pushing the creative boundaries...but should never push the safety ones if a rule is there simply for safety (example being prone landings) it needs to not be pushed ever. That road only leads back to a catastrophic injury and further regulation simply...
