Thanks for your response, I was unsure and thought I had read somewhere that the co-ed teams must demonstrate co-ed stunts. Thank you so much for the clarification.
They'll find a beast of a girl to toss that little nugget up. Co-Ed just means one of each gender, it does not denote which gender is the base and which is the flyer. I will be interested to see how this plays out.
I agree. I wonder if Varsity has the data as to how many total Sm. J 3's ( or another saturated division) have competed nationwide this season. I think it would overall put the Summit numbers into perspective.
12 divisions already have 5 or less and are guaranteed to make it to finals, it will be interesting to see if the take more then 5 from the divisions that have so many...
I agree, and I last I checked some teams were alone in their division. Jr Co-ed 4, Small J5, Large J5, Large J co-ed 5, and Large SR5 ------- strange indeed.
How many at large bids can a team receive? Some teams are listed on multiple EP's lists as having received an @L bid for the same team/ level/ division from different events.
How many teams still need bids at this event? I counted 24? I reread the thread and couldn't find the information, sorry if it has already been posted.
If the back spot can reach up and grab the bottom of the foot when the flyer is in an extended lib is it legal - because both feet are technically in the hands of the bases. I have read the rules, and I can't seem to find any verbiage to reflect that weight needs to be born in the foot?
I saw on the Varsity Summit Bid Event list, that there is a space at the very bottom of the event listing where Varsity is giving out 5 full paid bids, but no event listed. Can anyone clarify? Are these just extra bids Varsity will give out at will?
