Can you define which "fake full up" you're doing? We're thinking of going to UCA next year...we do cross leg full ups mostly. We've had more success with those than traditional grip. Curious to know what's fake to judges. Thanks and congrats to all!

I agree with @daniIV - whatever she can do with the best form. And consistently! The worst is having kids miraculously throw passes at tryouts and, as soon as they are placed on a team, poof! The skill disappears. Consistency, confidence and good form! The Fierce Board App! || iPhone || Android

Two weeks ago at Spirit Cheer, I was told that anything coming down is considered a dismount and anything going up is a transition. Specifically, I put in a review for our stunt score, and the reviewer wrote "the release move from prep to prone is considered a dismount" which lowered our scoring...

I put in a review at spirit cheer two weekends ago. Our senior team does a quad jump and a separate toe touch, and didn't max out. I was told jumps are a capped skill (their words) and that we only needed the four, but they had to be four DIFFERENT jumps to get max. We do toe handspring tucks...

To echo everyone else, 5'3" is absolutely average for flying! My point flyer is 5'7" and gorgeous in the air! Keep working hard, stretch and do whatever is asked of you- your time will come!!

That's what it sounds like, unfortunately. On the coaches' conference call yesterday, they definitely said backpacks for national champions and a beach bag for everyone. They had jackets for rec and HS last month, but I guess backpacks it is for all stars.
