I just can't get over seeing the athletes just walk off stage, no excitement, no celebration. It makes me sad to watch. I hope they find a way to fix this rule.

Here is what I don't understand, and not directed at you personally, BUT if the parent/child are holding up to their commitment, they don't have to worry about the fines, which makes it a moot point.....

This thread just reinforces why fines (or something of the like) NEED to be implemented. The fact that you have people that think it is OK to be late if their circumstance require it, is beyond me. If you (or your child) are late, you are late, your fault, YOU have affected the entire team...

I think it is a great idea, in theory, as long as it is actually stuck to. We as parents pay too much and our children (and us) invest too much time and hard work for kids to miss practices, show up late, not bring shoes etc. Yes, the fines would suck, BUT I would guess it would surely...

Or, they could open in California, Maryland. It's a real place. Then they could be west coast AND east coast. AND my daughter would be in heaven, lol.
