Draymond Green (Sorry, not Andre Drummond--I don't know basketball at all and got names mixed up) put a picture of his genitals on Snapchat and they didn't lose anything.

The Rio Communications Director called Lochte + company "kids," not anybody in the American press. The American press promptly told said person to screw off.

Are we really comparing nudes to vandalism, only one is an actual crime. The American press covered for the idiot, and tried to make him sound like a victim. Lochte was not innocent bystander in this situation, and the scrutiny he faced in the media for literally committing a crime is still nowhere near the criticism of Gabby not smiling enough or raising her damn hand.

It's not just that he's white but also a man and with a playboy playmate girlfriend so I'm assuming heterosexual as well. Born with a dumpster of privilege so large that he thought he could exploit a country and the worlds fears when he messed up and make himself a hero in the process.

Eta: the men's basketball team, Venus and Serena Williams or Leslie jones would not have been treated so kindly.

uh yes, it is a crime. Exposing yourself to a minor/corruption of a minor depending on the state. Remember how we had a pretty long discussion about that on here when Apple Graceffa changed his Twitter account to a porn account?

The American press reported what information they had on the time, which, at the time, was confirmed as accurate by the USOC. Since then, USA Today and other news sources have done full-blown investigations into the event to report it as fairly as possible. The point being, it was not an American official or someone from the USOC who called Lochte a "kid." It was someone from the Rio Olympics organizers. (For all we know his first language could be something other than English.)

You're correct, it was the Rio Olympic spokesperson.

Rio's Mr. Apology doesn't want one from Ryan Lochte, other U.S. swimmers

Poor, poor, poor guy. I feel so bad for him. His whole job this entire Olympics was just to basically publically apologize for everything - thats gotta be rough. I want to send him 100 Edible Arrangements and a basket of puppies.
