ugh i got excited for a second and thought they were actually bringing the 2013 uniform back. I was probably one of the rare few who loved that uni. i dont like the updated version, the weird crisscrossing strings are pointless and make it look messy, the panther on the skirt is misaligned at the seam which just kills my ocd. And does it have red or pink? cause the video makes it look pink. imo they could have brought back the white one and just made it a crop, changed the neck line maybe and it would have been a nice throwback to the old one.
No, the shorts are kinda weird. I like them, but there looks like there almost like a thick waist band that I kinda hate. My main thing was that the mask didn't match the uni...there's my OCD kicking in
Yeah I see what they’re trying to do: make the shorts more forgiving on certain body types (and as someone whose extra weight goes right to the lower abs, I appreciate that). But it’s not working visually. ETA: might've been a good idea to just lean into the longer high-waisted bike short look that's in right now? I mean I hate them, but I could see it happening.
There's something about Rebel uniforms that look so gaudy to me, and LB and Panthers are no exception.
Such a cool concept for the Panther promo video but not in love with the uniform. I haven't been in love with a CA uniform in a couple of years. I love the high waist shorts on Bullets I'm not sure if this is a new thing but I hope it catches on.
As a parent who bought a new uni this year I agree. I am still furious about it. And my daughter ages out of the division next year- so it’s a one a done.
No joke, 100% the reason I made my daughter do tinys. I'm not paying a bazillion dollars this year of all years and I def don't need a new $500 uniform. Let me catch one of those next year on the resale for half off.
As an HS coach I don’t understand teams that buy new comp unis every season. They use it a maximum of what, six times a year? In a busy year? It’s nothing more than some pretty obscene conspicuous consumption and I think it’s so silly for a program to expect that from parents.
