OT American History Term Paper topics

I have to write an 8-10 page paper on any topic in american history. I really wanted to do the history of cheerleading but im pretty much sure that theres not 6 books about the history of cheerleading..which is a requirement. If you have any other ideas kinda related to cheerleading or maybe you know of a few books about cheerleading history then i would love to hear! thanks!

I would also love to hear about any other interesting american history paper ideas that arent related to cheerleading! i just need ideas really bad

i always liked writing about slavery/the civil rights movement. there is so much to write about.

but if you want something athletic, you could research the US's involvement in olympics. or you could focus on the progression of gymnastics.
