I can't believe they gave away as much info as they did. Plus in the lawsuit (which was fully released) she's listed as "Jane *her last name initial* *her first name initial* Doe." Like hmmmmmmm who could that be?
Lol, so did like a number of the members on the Russian National Team since Rio: 1.) Dennis Ablyazin(current MAG team, went to Rio) to Ksenia Semyonova (Beijing quad until 2010 WAG team), and Semyonova is pregnant.... 2.) Ksenia Afanasyeva(current WAG team? Maybe retired, unknown). 3.) Nikita Ignatyev (current MAG team, went to Rio) 4.) David Belyavskiy (current MAG team, went to Rio) Earlier in the year Anastasia Grishina (London quad until 2013 WAG team) got married too and gave birth to a child...
@DancerDude0118 I can't tell minor Russians apart outside of the gym...is that a picture of pregnant Grishina? A-fan is retired for good.
That's Anna Rodionova (2012-2014 WAG team, she went to Worlds once in 2013). Grishina already gave birth. I remember feeling so heart broken for this little girl who messed up her FX routine during the London TF... a quad later, she's a mother.
im curious of who it is, i could take a good guess since someone earlier said they were on the 2009 worlds team? and a certain age. But i still think im in the dark on who it actual is.
Bela and Martha Karolyi sued by ex-gymnast who says doctor sexually abused her - CNN.com Obviously I'm not going to straight up post the woman's name. But this particular article with other clues.... Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Skinner previewed her first collegiate floor routine last night at Utah. She looks happier than I've ever seen her. http://www.utahutes.com/news/2016/12/9/gymnastics-red-rocks-preview-delights-record-crowd.aspx
Maggie gets a 10.0 on bars: 9.925 on floor: and Maggie's beam (9.825): And Brenna Dowell's bars (9.9): I just really miss Maggie.... but I knew she'd do well in the NCAA. Proud of her.
This doesn't really surprise me. Gymnasts put in a lot of hours at the gym; where we came from in Missouri, one of my daughters friends switched from cheer to gymnastics and even at level 2 it was 14 hours a week during the summer and 6 during the school years. Parents don't hang around and watch every practice and once they get older and start going to camp or being tapped for TOPS or beyond, they have even less parental involvement. Being secluded like that makes children easier targets. It's sad, but definitely not surprising.
He could have been stopped: How one pedophile kept coaching gymnastics interesting article.. but im shocked at how stupid the adults in these situations were by ignoring basically every warning sign in the book and not turning to police for help.
