Hi everyone!
So I am having a lot much trouble with back flexibility. I have bone spurs in between the lower vertebrae in my back. So even the simple stretches are super painful. I've be stretching my back for a while, but cannot seem to get anymore flexible. I'm not sure if its because of my bone spurs and I'm not that flexible or if it's because I might not be doing the correct stretches. I have college cheer tryouts in the spring and I'm struggling a lot with this and did not want to not make it because I can't pull a certain move in the air. Does anyone have any advice? Anything is greatly appreciated. Thank you in advanced!

If you have bone spurs in your back, you do not need to be doing anything that hyper extends your spine like bridges, scales, scorpions, needles, etc. until you see a doctor and get the okay. You could do permanent damage. Making your college cheer team isn't worth permanent pain, nerve damage or severe injury.
