Bids To Uca High School Nationals

What are the rules for submitting a video for a bid to UCA Nationals? My team did not earn a bid at our regional competition There is no other regional under 4 hours away that we could go to. So, I've heard that they do accept video submissions from some teams who don't have a regional close by. I'm just wondering exactly what they mean by "close by". I would really like to go the video route instead of spending the money to go 4+ hours away to another regional.

We did it my junior year because we didn't get a bid at our regional (super rough day...). The next closest regional was in Iowa (I'm from Wisconsin) and we were able to send a video. I'd contact your UCA state director. They should be able to give you more info on the process!
