All-Star Champions League Preseason Rankings

What are your thoughts on the top 25 preseason rankings? I think it gives cheer more of a feel of other sports that have these rankings at their top levels. I just wonder how you could have a good feel for what teams will be when a lot of teams are not even finalized.

My guess is TGLC will be #1...any guesses on the top 5?

You can't rank them if there are differently formatted divisions involved though. How can a Small Senior program stand up in ranking during the season to a Large Senior?

i think the criteria they are choosing to rank teams is odd.

I agree, not sure why they wouldn't do a top 5 or top 10 for each division.

Meaningless honestly. Year to year things change due to staffing and kids coming and going. While there are some gyms with a consistent reputation, even they have things going on that change from year to year.

This would be right up my alley. Assuming that gyms were willing to release the info. I like researching and creating spreadsheets.

I thought it was ridiculous when first announced. Steel being 23rd or whatever confirms that.

We used to do this for the ESPN/CBS Shows when I first started at Varsity. Some poor soul has that task now

I'm pretty sure Spirit Brands took over Champions League, considering how they handle scoring at their other events I'm not too surprised how crazy these rankings are.
