So some families could potentially be traveling to Philadelphia, Orlando and back to Orlando in 4 weeks?

This makes too much sense for it to ever actually happen.

I've got a question as to competitions, worlds and rules. I know many are wondering which scoring system and I am sure we will know sooner or later. My question is this, what truly binds us to any set of rules besides the cooperation of every gym and ep. Lets say a new event states you could do a full in level 4. How does that work. With different scoring systems, as long as its not a USASF sanctioned event, what happens. Don't get me wrong I am all for rules and safety, it is the most important aspect. What's to stop a new all star division from starting tomorrow? I am not looking for anarchy but what is the defining thing holding this together besides we choose to?

Cuz if its just on our own accord then gym owners and ep's need a big round of applause. It's a wonder chaos hasn't erupted without rules with consequences. :)

Pre NACCC we had a phase in which each event producer had it's own set of rules. The coaches didn't like it, formed the NACCC, and asked the EPs to standardize some things, rules and division being included. If a gym or EP isn't a USASF member there isn't much, if anything, the USASF could do about a different set of rules being used. I'd guess the thing that holds the system together is consistency.

I posted a similar question ages ago in the Varsity=USASF/Buyout discussions. What makes the USASF the USASF, and what stops another group of people forming their own USASF and declaring they are the governing body of cheer (or whatever they want to name the sport)?

I questioned why a contingent of major gyms, IEPs, and industry brands couldn't come together to create a new cheer model? Let's see....major programs involved...check. Industry leaders....Nfinity so far...check. IEPs.....I'm sure there will be....

I always wondered. I know with other sports it would never work, greed and what not. It's pretty impressive that something this vast and spread out can work together. That's just pretty cool.

It is all a matter of perceptions and organization. If its perceived that it will work and organized enough to work it would work. At the moment no one has anything binding them to the current setup.

Has anyone checked if the invites correlate to Nfinity Cup rankings somehow?
