High School Cheer In Routine

It is my understanding that high school teams in Canada no longer need a cheer section in the routine, according to the new score sheets. Can somebody please verify this? Everybody I have contacted isn't sure or hasn't gotten back to me. Thank you!

I'm not positive about all of Canada but as of last year teams in N.S. didn't have to do cheers, the times of routines changed from 3:00 to 2:30 as well.
