All-Star Cheertech?

Didn't hear anything about a missing cheerleader & I was there both days all day.

Same I was there too and I never heard anything.

It was very frustrating that they charge $25 a day and 75%! Of seating was behind judges or VIP area!!!! Whoever ran this comp had NO clue!!!!

This comp was a HOT mess! We attended last year when it was in Wildwood and it was much better. The casino was terrible very inappropriate for this event and not well run at all!! Really hope if our gym has to return to this event that they move it out of Atlantic City or at least have it at the convention center. The hotel was a mess also. Very true no one could see a thing and there was no correct schedule to follow anywhere! They didn't even have food or water for sale anywhere near by you had to walk back to casino to buy anything. The last awards ceremony was ridiculous!!! Also I heard the photographer was very rude to some of the parents. I actually enjoyed this event last year but definitely not this year. I will correct one thing the girl that was injured did not lay on the floor for an hour it was actually more like 25-30 minutes still NOT acceptable at all and they didn't have a back board available to carry her out. It was crazy! I did hear the story of a child(cheerleader ) being found locked up and injured but never found out if it was true. Do know our girls where frightened though after that story. Also heard many stories of the way hotel treated people and rooms not being ready till 10-11 pm at night at check in. Also saw lots of pictures shown to us of the hotel rooms and hallways being gross. We stayed at different hotel. Not great when thousands of kids are subjected to cigarette smoke which was smelt through whole building and seeing lots of drunk people. this comp definitely has to make some BIG improvements.

Editing to add: that is a horrible rumor to just throw out there, did anyone try and verify it or no?

At this point just a rumor. @IsntSheLovlei was asked to clarify their post and has not responded and @momof1cheer said "she heard".
If you don't like a competition and have specific facts, that's fine. However, posting things that you have no factual knowledge of is unproductive and inappropriate.

No like I stated it was never confirmed and I didn't hear it myself till only a few hours before comp was over.

Got it thanks and yeah I agree with you. It doesn't seem particularly responsible to pass on rumors if we have absolutely no confidence that it might be based in fact or are unwilling to name the source of said rumor. Anyway, I dislike Atlantic City as a competition venue and Cheertech as an EP for other reasons and pray it is not true!

Hope they fix it and improve venue before Champions League!!!! It did take a long time before they had the injured girl on a board and brought to hospital.

I enjoy AC as a venue, but cp usually competes at Battle at the Boardwalk, which is held in Boardwalk Hall and not a convention room.

@cheermomforever, we attended two Champs Leagues (year 2 and 3) and their stage is usually elevated, so unless the have changed their general style for the regionals, you should be able to see.
