I feel like this "wingman" is way harder. We do something like this in yoga (on our hands and knees though so it's easier) and It makes my hips cramp up and it's so painful, there's no way I could do that while in a stunt.

I had no idea this was a thing... Whenever we did something resembling it in ballet class, my teacher would tell us we looked like a dog at w fire hydrant.

Haha-- that is a good description.

My kid is supposed to be doing an arabesque. Apparently she was just being weird and trying to make things harder for herself and her stunt group. I am still surprised she stayed up both days in this position.

I feel like the difference here lies in if the hips are facing under or turned out. So now I ask the question, wingman or funky looking turned out arabesque? (These were randomly pulled from google)

@cheerKT, if we are going to use the definition from @SoAena's link, then only the third is a wingman. The first two would be scales and the fourth seems like it was supposed to be an arabesque.
