I remember when (04) when there was not out of bounds at some competitions (WCA) and you would see cheerleaders start their pass from 6 feet off the mat.

(this is from another post) I remember when NCA Allstar Nationals use to have Finals and Challenge Cup.

I remember when Cheersport was the only spring floor comp and NCA was the only comp to use 9 panels (all other comps only used 7 panels).....I think I am telling my age by these

When the divisions were novice, intermediate and advanced. And there were great divisions like senior prep and pee-wee's.

When NCA competitions were small and held at venues like high school gyms and Great America where, if it rained, you got to perform on wet mats? Safe much?

yea cheersport was like the deal because it was a spring floor.

Or when there were no level divisions...just small and large.

At UCA All-star nationals, you would have to actually make finals to compete the next day, so when everyone was swimming sat. night, my mom would tell me sorry you can't swim those are the people who didn't make finals, you need to rest...lol

When the only teams that could do crazy stunts and high baskets were the large coed teams. It was like watching the circus and everyone came to see the show! Ace, Top Gun, GA, Cheer Athletics - let the games begin!
