WOW...Him flipping over all of those guys!! The form made me chuckle a little (but not in a bad way...this was the 30's after all!)....and he did it all on the ground, no spring floors, etc.

Thought this video was pretty cool. I wasn't really aware of people throwing that kind of tumbling as early as the 1930's. Impressive considering the time period and that he probably taught himself the techniques we still use today. Does anyone know any more about the roots of tumbling? Just curious.

It's exactly like lil B and all those guys who do it now.... Hahaha so funny
 
Several years ago I was able to meet some of the guys who performed at Muscle Beach in the 40s and 50s....amazing stuff. It's hard to find the videos, but if you can-it's worth it!!!

That is awesome!!! I am going to look up some stuff as well bc I dont think kids these days understand that these skills arent new! Love it!
 
Also its awesome to see him doing it on hard floor out side on grass etc...thats probably why his tech was like SOME cheerleaders!
