Drills Needed

The drill that CPs tumbling coach has her do for her full is stand on the end of a tumble track that goes to a level resi mat, and do a standing straight body twist and land flat on her stomach instead of her feet. It seems to help w/ form and other issues.

Has she looked at the Cheer RX app? Lots of drills there, no clue how useful they are.

Thanks! Yes, but looking for a very specific help with this skill that I didn't see on the Cheer RX app.

CP says it's all about about the layout. Drill that by pulling the toes harder to flip faster. If the layout is high and hollow with a quick flip, the full should be fine. When she struggles with her full, drilling layouts (or alternating fulls and layouts) helps.

Her layout is gorgeous, but it doesn't carry over to her full. Part of it is mental.
