If it is legal, we might see teams getting spotted on jump tuck which might boost up creativity?
If I am reading the rule correctly, the only tumbling elements you can perform for stunting purposes only are forward roll, handstand, cartwheel and roundoff. It was very specific.
From what I know about the tumbling at NT level, it's that at all times, the spotter as to touch the tumbler, if not, they get an automatic deduction.
Of course, they are limited in the tumbling elements they can do, but in what they are allowed to do, they must AT ALL TIMES be in contact.
No but there are certain elements that are supposed to be in a routine so seems like something had to be missing. Wouldn't you question other divisions if their routine wasnt 2:30 and was cut to 2:05. Seems like something definitely would be missing and thus scoring would be lower. Just my opinion though. I dont officially know exactly what elements must be included
If yes - that is the most ridiculous thing I have ever heard. If I have a spot on a full, it is still a full, yes?
It would be the ranges on the score sheet. In reality, if you could fit everything you needed to score high range across all areas into 1:30, have at it. Your kids will probably pass out from exhaustion, but theres nothing saying that routines have to be 2:30, just that they can't be longer.
Supersonic speed routines lol
Look at how clean F5 is. Not even just their stunts. All their landings in running tumbling are super clean too. See also: the point person in jumps! They're magnificent. You can't NOT notice them.
I was really happy to see Supers take 2nd last year. They're one of the most consistent teams out there.
Gosh I love them Always a joy to watch

I feel like I always really like F5's routines at the beginning of the season, and then they make changes to it that I don't necessarily like.
