I've been an Allstar cheerleader for 12 years and I want to do high school cheer next year but I rarely tumble on dead mats or hard floor and I was just wondering if you guys had any tips for tumbling on dead Mat. (Sorry if this wa already posted)

I would try to find a place where there are the thick foam-type mats on a hard, non-spring, floor. It is a good transition to tumbling out on the field or on the court.

I can't think of any tips specifically other than just going for the skill you are going to do and committing 100%. I can do everything on dead mat that I can do on a spring floor(except punch fronts and front handsprings). If you use good technique and form then you can throw your tumbling anywhere!
