Our gym is considering offsite housing for Summit this year. Coaches would like us to rent a few houses all in the same place to still all be together. Any teams have luck finding 4-5 houses all together?

If houses don't work, there are several resorts within ten minutes of WWOS. We always stayed at Orange Lake and loved it. There are 1-3 bedroom condo units.

Renting a big house comes with many challenges. There are only so many bathrooms available and everyone needs to get ready at the same time. Any small drama's between parents or teammates turn into big drama's when people have no place to go and mentally escape.

I highly recommend individual rooms onsite. If your coaches insist, they should be in charge of finding the houses, collecting the money, paying for the security deposit, assigning rooms, planning for meals etc. Its a heck of a lot easier when you can choose your own roommates onsite, roll out of bed and eat in the cafeteria and go back to your room when Susies mom gets on your nerves or your kid needs some time alone.
