Inversions In Level 2

There's no real way to "max out points." Scoring (at least Jam and Varsity) is comparative, so you can max it if you do more transitional elements and level appropriate skills than the rest of your division. There's no guarantee that you'll max even then, however. There's also no code of points, so inversions don't count more than other level 2 skills (connected tick tocks, 1/2 turning transitions, etc.)

We are like 1 point from maxing out our whole routine I'm just trying to figure out how to do it! Thank you

As they said above, there is no sure fire way to max out. The only thing you can do is guarantee you're in rang by number of skills performed as denoted on the rubric. Everything else is determined by the team(s) you are competing against. You may max out this weekend against certain teams but then be bottom of the range the following weekend depending on who and what you are competing against. Your best bet is to stick with skills that are performed the cleanest and try to max technique which is not comparative (but still subjective). My senior 2 does not do an inversion. We maxed at one competition and scored a 9.8 the very next weekend. All depends on what you're against.
