All-Star Is There A Rule That A Big Gym Can't Open A Location Within 50 Miles Of Another Big Gym

I don’t think it’s something negative. In my mind, it’s to help smaller gyms not be swallowed up because 4 big name gyms open within 10 miles of them, and to prevent those big name gyms from entirely monopolizing the market. However, if they aren’t an alliance member, gyms can do whatever they want which is how you end up with a city that houses 3-4+ big name gyms—only one of them may be an alliance member and the others are not.

I wish I knew which programs were alliance members though, but that’s entirely for different reasons.
