Is cradle to prone legal at level 1 if the backspot keeps hold of the ankles?

As performed in the video it is illegal. Transitions cant exceed prep level. If you can do that without popping it above prep then it could be legal.

    Stunts:
B2. Extended stunts are not allowed . A stunt may not be held at or pass through an extended position.
Clarification: Taking the top person above the head of the bases would be illegal.

Asking because I want to learn, is a cradle to prone different to a traditional cradle? Asking because I do see many regular cradles in level 1 with a pop higher than prep. Thanks!

ETA: is it because a standard cradle releases where this example maintains contact?

The video shown isn't a cradle. There's no release, so therefore, it's taking a flyer above the bases, which is illegal.

That video would still be illegal for level 1 this season. However, without passing above prep level, it could be performed legally.

By definition, a cradle must land in a face up position. Just FYI. A release, or transition to prone, is not a cradle.

So if I had my Level 1's go from say a Thigh Stand into this prone transition position that would be ok as long as the backspot stayed connected & the bases didn't push the flyer higher then their heads?
I'm getting stunt ideas pop into my head as I type but want to make sure I'm understanding it first!

How you have it described is legal.

For the prone position, make sure that the head/upper body is higher than feet (bases catch higher than the backspot holds) so that she is angled upwards, instead of head first. They are being pretty strict about that here in the states. I think because then it becomes a downward inversion?

What if for level one it is during a pyramid and the flyers are in prep level arabesque connected to the middle prep. Still legal? Do they need to maintain contact to the middle prep until they have been caught?
